McKenna is an outstanding harpist in Victoria BC who is currently working on her Master's degree in the harp at UVic. 

McKenna has garnered numerous accolades throughout her musical career. She achieved remarkable success at the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival, clinching first place in the harp division and earning a coveted spot at the honours concert. At the esteemed Victoria Conservatory of Music, she secured the prestigious Marnie Lester Harp Scholarship Award for two consecutive years, while also making history as the first harpist to claim the top spot in the Collegium Strings Competition. McKenna's exceptional talent was recognized with the 2019 Royal Conservatory Gold Medal for the British Columbia and Yukon region, reflecting her outstanding performance in the harp exam. She has enchanted audiences at noteworthy venues including the Gorge for Canada's 150th birthday celebration, the Lieutenant Governor General's Residence, City Hall, and the Royal BC Museum.
